KH7 was out again yesterday with a composite crew. Duncan Murison took Ash & Ryan from Bilpin RFS up to the Boys Arm fire where they were joined by Lower MacDonald RFS, Glossodia RFS, East Kurrajong RFS, and Blaxland Ridge RFS.
It was a day of finding smokers and putting them out. In addition to the good old ‘back of the hand’ technique we also have a FLIR K1 camera to detect hotspots.
