This is a summary of some of our recent callouts:
Vehicle Fire on Hermitage Road
On May 25th your Brigade responded to a vehicle fire on Hernmitage Road reaching the burning truck at 3.15 a.m. We were supported by Kurrajong Brigade and FRNSW. The fire was quickly extinguished and our volunteers were back at the station at 3.40pm.
Motor Vehicle Accident on Bellbird Hill
On 22nd April your Brigade responded to a MVA on Bellbird Hill. A VW van was recovered by a tow truck at 9.10pm and our volunteers had returned to the station at 9.34pm.
We were supported by Kurrajong Brigade.
Tree Alight on Bells Line of Road
On 5th April at 15.29 your Brigade responded to a call for a tree alight on BLOR. It was extinguished by 15.53:
Major Truck Accident on Bellbird Hill
On 24th March a semi rolled on Bellbird Hill approaching Stop Rock completely blocking all lanes of the road. Two cars impacted the truck with the lady driver in one of the cars being trapped for a while. She was safely extracted and we understand has fully recovered but will no doubt remain traumatised by the incident.

Truck, trailer and Car Accident on Bellbird Hill
On 21st March at 12.19 your Brigade was called out to a MVA on Bellbird Hill. A truck and trailer had spun and been collected by a KIA sedan. All the occupants were fine and the accident scene was cleared by 4pm.
MVA at Mt Tomah
On 10th March your Brigade attended a single car accident at Mt Tomah. A Renault Megane left the road and went up a bank before coming back on to the road and overturning. It was a convertible and the lady driver was very fortunate to escape serious injury.
We were called at 10.22 and returned to the station at 12.19. Police, ambulance and an air ambulance all attended the accident.
Wires Down on Warks Hill Road
On 10th February at 15.50 your Brigade was called to a firecall for wires down and arcing on Warks Hill Road. The incident was resolved within the hour.
Grass Fire on Pittmans Road
On 5th February at 13.01 your Brigade responded to a grass fire on Pittmans Road. The fire was extinguished within 20 minutes.
Smoke on Burralow Road
On 21st January your Brigade responded to a call for smoke in the vicinity of Burralow Road.
We responded and extinguished a tree that we suspect was subject to an earlier lightning strike.
Oil Spill on BLOR Near Tomah Street
On 14th January at 16.13 your Brigade responded to a call for an oil spill between Tomah Street and Pecks Rd at Kurrajong Heights.
We remedied the spill and the job was finished by 16.43.
